SL High Commission in Delhi closed following Covid detections among staff

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in New Delhi announced today (19) that it will be closed until further notice for quarantine purposes as some staff have tested positive for Covid-19. According to a representative from the High Commission, approximately nine staff members have tested positive for Covid-19. The staff members and their close contacts have been placed in isolation. Regardless of the on-going lockdown in New Delhi, the Sri Lankan High Commission will continue to monitor their emails and emergency consular services hotline in order to assist Sri Lankan citizens who require their services.
