In an event held in MovenPick Hotel Colombo on Tuesday (21) Softlogic announced they are the authorized dealers in Sri Lanka for Candy products and launched two products from Candy; The Candy Watch and Touch oven and Candy Bianca washing machine.  These products are built with embedded features and works as Wifi connected household appliances. Nasser Majeed said “This is the first range of appliances that can actually communicate with you wherever you may be, and all of us at Softlogic are delighted to be associated with Candy on this momentous occasion, where we enable you to ‘Simply-Fi’ your day with the most complete, up-to-date and connected appliances. Along with our other projects, we plan to open Softlogic Supermarkets soon, hoping to give customers a different experience by selling electrical appliances there. We are sure Candy will play an important part in that.” The ‘Candy Watch & Touch oven’ comes with full touch control screen, wi-fi connectivity and 4 cooking modes, namely Video Recipes, Personal Programmes, Suggested Cooking Programmes and Manual Mode while the ‘Candy Bianca’ washing machine consists of a remote control, energy reduction manager, auto maintenance and voice control. Softlogic, which began as a software developer has now diversified into the ICT, Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services, Automobiles and Leisure sectors.
