A special security operation will be conducted during the holy week leading up to Easter Sunday, Army Media Spokesman Nilantha Premarathne said.
He stated that numerous locations including churches have been given high security by the presence of military personnel.
The relevant security arrangements will be carried out by Sri Lanka Police in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army.
