The Head of the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the Covid-19 Outbreak and Army Commander, General Shavendra Silva said that the Government has decided to implement a special security plan in the country during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year as well as during the week of the second year anniversary of the 21 April 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
He also stated that there is no intention to impose curfew during the New Year season.
