A 117-year-old woman, who is reported as Sri Lanka's oldest female, has passed away at the age of 117 in Nagoda today, the Assistant Government Agent’s (AGA) Office of Dodangoda said. She had passed away while receiving treatment at the Nagoda Hospital.
