Starting to see beginning of the end of COVID-19: PM

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said today that, “We are starting to see the beginning of the end of COVID-19 pandemic.”

Mr. Rajapaksa expressed these views while congratulating Indian Premier Narendra Modi and the Government of India for launching the COVID-19 vaccination drive in their country.

“Congratulations PM Modi and the Government of India on taking this very important step with this massive COVID-19 Vaccination drive! We are starting to see the beginning of the end to this devastating pandemic,” he said.
