The Police Special Task Force (STF) is to be deployed from today (24) to provide security to the outer perimeters of several prisons. Accordingly, the STF is to provide security to Welikada, Magazine and Colombo Remand Prisons (CRP), the Commissioner-General of Prisons Thushara Upuldeniya said.
