Veteran journalist Sudewa Hettiarachchi has been appointed as the Director General of the President’s Media Division (PMD) today (27). Hettiarachchi is one of the most well-known political talk show hosts on television at present, particularly for two stints at two private electronic media networks. He is replacing Mohan Samaranayake, who was the previous Director General of the PMD.
