On the apparent Northward relative motion of the sun, it is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 05 to 14 April in this year, the Department of Meteorology stated. The nearest areas of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead today (05), are Angunakolapelessa, Baddegama, Dediyawala, Mulatiyana, Thelwatta, and Udamalala at about 12.13 noon. The Department of Meteorology stated that except for a few rains in Sabaragamuwa Province, and in Galle, Kalutara, Matara Districts, mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
