The continuous struggle to purchase fuel and LP gas has now compelled the general public to seek divine intervention to resolve their grievances after being unable to buy goods even after standing for hours in long queues.
A group of villagers in the Talawakelle area had last week held a pooja at a Kali kovil in the Hollyrude area seeking justice from the gods to help them through these difficult times, according to reports. It is learnt that the villagers had also dashed coconuts against the Government, claiming that the people were suffering due to the Government’s failures.
