Sri Lanka now seems to be having its very own Aladdin with his wondrous lamp in the form of Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa.
It was Minister S.M. Chandrasena who recently claimed that Finance Minister Rajapaksa, like Aladdin, would present a budget for 2022 that would be akin to a lamp of wonders.
Chandrasena told a news conference that Minister Rajapaksa was holding discussions with all ministers, parliamentarians, and civil groups in that regard.
