The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by social activists Gamini Viyangoda and Prof. Chandraguptha Thenuwara against the Court of Appeal judgement in President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s citizenship case.
On 4 October, the Appeal Court dismissed Thenuwara and Viyangoda’s petition against the former Defense Secretary’s Sri Lankan Citizenship.
Following the judgement, a petition against the Court of Appeal’s decision was filed by the duo on the 13 November last year.
