The biggest gift Sri Lanka has received from India is Buddhism said Minister of Youth & Sports, Minister of Development Co-ordination and Monitoring and State Minister of Digital Technology and Enterprise Development Namal Rajapaksa via a twitter post today (20).
Earlier today Rajapaksa travelled with a delegation to Kushinagar to inaugurate the newly build international airport, and met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rajapaksa stated that it was the vision of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen the bond between India and Sri Lanka as well as the people of the two nations.
He further went on to say that India and Sri Lanka has always shared a close relationship.
