Three new members to Eastern Heritage Task Force

Three new members have been appointed to the Presidential Task Force for Archaeological Heritage Management in the Eastern Province, which was established by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, two of whom are from minority communities. This was made known via an Extraordinary Gazette issued on Monday (29 November). The gazette mentions that it has been identified that Surveyor General W.T.M.S.B. Tennakoon Esquire, has been retired from the public service, and with the need to expand the current Task Force, three additional members were appointed. The three new members include Surveyor General Ariyarathna Dissanayaka Esquire, Chief Secretary (Retd.) A. Pathinadan Esquire, and lecturer Mufhisal Abubakkar Esquire.
