Tiana Piyadasa, the youngest daughter of two Sri Lanka national table tennis champions, Thilina Piyadasa and Rifkaa Kameel, had become U.S.A. Under-10 No. 1 last week.
Incidentally, two months ago Tiana’s elder sister Tashiya too had won girls’ U-11 title at the US National Championship.
Both Tashiya and Tiana are currently training at the California TT Club under Jun Gao, former Chinese Olympic silver medallist.
