The token strike launched by the train drivers and controllers midnight yesterday (17) based on several demands has been called off a short while ago, stated the General Secretary of the Railway Controllers Association Anura Pieris. He said this following a discussion held between Transport Minister Gamini Lokuge and trade union representatives this morning (18).
