Travel restrictions have been imposed in the Passaiyoor and Gurunagar areas in Jaffna over the current spread of COVID-19, Area PHIs stated.
2 residents from the two adjoining areas had tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday (27).
The patients, who are a fish vendor and his assistant, are reported to have purchased supplies from the Peliyagoda fish market, where a new COVID-19 cluster was detected recently.
