A total of 23 indviduals have been arrested over the past 24 hours for violation of quarantine regulations, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today.
They have been arrested for the offences of not wearing face masks and violating social distancing.
The Police Spokesperson stated that a total of 2,098 individuals have been arrested since 30 October for these offences.
