The COVID-19 vaccination programme in the Battaramulla MOH area will commence on March 1, 2021, stated the Battaramulla Medical Officer of Health (MOH) today. All persons over 60 from the relevant Grama Niladhari areas are eligible for the vaccine. The vaccination drive is to be done in several stages. On March 1, the vaccination drive will commence in Kalapaluwawa, followed by Kotuwegoda on March 2, Jayawardenagama on March 3, Batapotha on March 4 and Pothuarawa on March 5 at the Thalangama Hospital.
