The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply to several areas supplied by the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant will be suspended for 16 hours today (19).
The water supply to the Sapugaskanda substation will be suspended due to urgent repairs.
The water supply to Peliyagoda, Wattala - Mabola, Ja - Ela Municipal Council areas and Katunayake Seeduwa Municipal Council areas will be suspended.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply to Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha areas and parts of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area will also be suspended.
Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended for 16 hours from 08.30 am today.
In addition, the water supply to Waskaduwa, Wadduwa, Pothupitiya, Kalutara North and South, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Bombuwala and Piliminawatta areas will be suspended for 16 hours from 08.00 am to 12.00 noon tomorrow (20).
